I'm taking an online class and the topic last week was on hands. My husband was nice enough to let me practice on him while he finished up his chores.

I am taking an online class from Susan Tuttle on iphoneography. I took this image and edited it completely on my cell phone. I've still a lot to learn, but I am enjoying the process.
This piece germinated from from Marie Otero's online class Project Four. An action was created resulting in a high contrast image. Then color was added. I stripped out the background sky which had no clouds and added what you see. Topaz was used and then Color Efex.
This is Chicago's famous Riverwalk. To the left with the purple is the Wrigley Building. It has been shot a 1000 different ways. I think i have come up with a piece that is a little different rendering of this illustrious monolith.

Year of the fairy tale 2014: #FT14 Watercolor on WC paper and salt; watercolor and pencil.
Once upon a time there was an online class. Even before it begun things were already happening. Paper dolls appeared all over the world. And also in silly places.
My paper doll went through some of my discarded papers and my giraffe sketchbook.
an online class over at Strathmore by Traci Bautista - this is my first result after the two videos of week 1 in my moleskine (each page of this spread is 5 x 8")
This is for the online class I am taking this month. It wasn't my intention to hide my "secret energy sources" from you, but I couldn't resist the DoF this image presented. I hope you enjoy!

Here is what I did for Week 1 of the online class hosted by Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner.
I was excited about the colors but not sure how I was going to use pink with the orange and purple. However, I was very pleased with how this turned out.

Tomorrow I start a new online class called "Drawing Live Subjects in Public" offered by Roz Stendahl. I thought I'd do some quick sketches of our chickens before class so I have something to compare later. I did four 20 second sketches and one two minute in a brand new journal. I like the size and quality of the paper.

Ukraine, November 2023: 11-year-old Bohdan lives in Izyum, in Ukraine’s Kharkivska region, a city that has endured near-total destruction over two years of conflict. Last year, the local school was shelled and is now closed, and his classmates have fled.
"The war changed my life a lot,” says Bodhan. “I don't attend school anymore, I avoid places where there could be mines and don't go far for walks or summer swims in the river. Before the war, Izyum was whole. Everyone was happy and kind, and now everything is broken, and there's no one left. Many friends have departed."
During winter, Bohdan's entire existence revolves around his home and yard due to the danger of landmines. With education in his region restricted to online classes, his only connection to teachers and classmates is via a small phone screen.
"My school is in ruins,” he says, sadly. “I wish I could return there to see my friends and stroll around. Online studying is tough due to potential electricity and internet outages. Using my phone for studies is challenging as the battery runs out, and I can't hear the teacher well. Besides, my eyes get tired and worsen.”

An ordinary Saturday afternoon in my home with little cleanup. The hardest part was getting all 20 arranged in the end because I did not have a program for it. Had to use PowerPoint, and therefore they are not in the correct order.

Stamplistic is doing online classes during the lockdown. I decided to take one of them. We were to make two cards during the class and one on our own. I decided to do them all on my own and would up making 5 cards from the class supplies (with a couple minor additions from my stash).
I used a couple little leftover center designs from previous cards to make this card. I added circles from red, white, and black card stock, a stamped text black, and some tiny butterfly die cuts I had in my stash.
