Polaroid Self Timer #192
This all mechanical and all metal device (Made in Japan) fits snuggly over the shutter button of a Polaroid 100 – 400 series folding pack camera. Turning the small knob sets the mechanical timer for anywhere from 5 to 15 seconds. That’s just enough time to race across the room, sit on the couch, smile, and adjust one’s hair before the "Click".

No doubt by now you've seen the incredible collaboration between Little Bones and Blueberry that's out at Uber right now.
Hot hairstyles made for a daring dress, or was it the dress created for the hairstyles? When the result is this good you don't even care; you're just glad both stores came together to give us the Nova dress and Cherry, Honey, Mint (wearing), and Vanilla wigs to go with it (regular styles not fitted to the dress also included).
Glamistry recently released their Magnolia heel/boot hybrid. With the fatpack, you can create pretty much any color combination you desire. I'm loving how closely the pink texture matched the dress.
oOo Studio is participating in Oneword with this very cool pose prop called "Elemental". The light is tintable and the accompanying poses are spectacular. The event ends March 31st.

OK, it's not really a hack and it's a lame one at that.
I don't believe in carrying around free advertising for someone, however excellent their products might be, so I was going to black out the N*k*n with a marker pen. Out of curiosity I first tried to see what I could make from it.
So, now I'm a Nikon/Flikcr fan-boy.
My fav fruits! And my fav colours too! I find blue and green together very "harmonious"
You know what's funny.. I am helping my husband to loose weight and in the process hoping to loose about 15 pounds myself. Since starting this "diet" I have been taking ALOT of food pictures.. I'm sure you've noticed, lol. Torturing myself perhaps!!!
Actually we are both finding it easy. We started two weeks ago today and my husband has lost 10 pounds and I have lost 5. I have been focusing on smaller portions, writing down what we eat and eating more fruits and veggies.
ONEWORD February `harmony`
there's so much hope in having a baby, in the smiles, the cute, the laughter, but when you hit toddlerhood, you have to stop and breathe to remember the hope is still there on the other side of it all.
i've been realizing very clearly lately something I've known for a while in the back of my mind: my daughter is a high-need child, the kind of child who is like a wild filly, needing to be gentled, to be safe, to know she is loved more than she needs limitations. she is like her mother, sensitive, strong-willed, very passionate.
this weekend, I've been trying to breathe, trying to remember who I am and why I love, taking a moment to look ahead to what is beyond this moment when I just can't fix everything at once.
(I've got a TON of comments to return, and a crazy, crazy week before another wedding on Saturday! Please forgive me if I don't get back right away!)
