My school burnt down almost three years ago during my last year in school, it also burnt down in the 70's.

 

They still haven't finished rebuilding it and Moxy thinks they should hurry up because she wants to see it :P

Now, some things, even some magnifying glasses are cool. They let you see things larger or maybe they let you explore a whole new world. But, my thing? It doesn't really do any of that. I mean, it has dimples in it. Dimples? What good is exploring a world full of dimples?

I love Elliot Erwitt's work for its simplicity. He finds beauty and joy in the everyday moments that I find to be what makes life special. I chose to copy this photograph because I remember using objects to climb up and reach things as a child. My children do this all the time too. I thought it would be fun to capture that on camera.
