This is my item for the one object 365 challenge. Check back in about two weeks or so... it should start getting interesting about that time. : )

South African Zulu Tribe Traditional Sangoma Beaded Doll Toy - A hand beaded Sangoma Doll created by women of the Zulu tribe - Sangoma means herbalist or soothsayer (forsooth) - The doll is made of old rags, wool, beads, and a mealie-cob center. The Zulu mothers make these for their children to play with.
Feet up taking a break... One of the first groups I ever learned about on flickr.
Some of my 1:12 miniatures work with Barbie, who is 1:6 scale btw. I made the plant of masking tape many years ago. The doggy, flower arrangement, book, throw and pillows are also from my 1:12 scale collection. The glasses of water are the caps from my cats medicine. The bed is a cereal box with toilet paper tube pillows and paper headboard. The "bear" chair & table were a thrift store find.
Confession... My playline collection of Barbies has grown to 14. I guess it's not really a one object project anymore, is it?
3/365.
Don't worry, Cheesy Steve is safely intact. I wanted to do this shot later, but he is starting to smell a bit "off"... I might not want to be handling him when "later" comes. ; )
For Sallers: I smeared my mucky fingers on him like you said! : D
I thought maybe it was Romeo.

“Single Fin” is a replica of a grave monument in Howkan, Alaska. The original was commissioned around 1880 by Moses Koohl-Keet as a memorial to his uncle, head of Brown Bear House, a branch of the Kaigani Haida Nation. Curator Emeritus Bill Holm carved the replica based on photographs of the Howkan whale, and on the original fin which is in the Burke Museum's ethnology collection on the University of Washington Campus in Seattle, Washington.
I am woefully behind in December Diary again. I did this one at The beginning of the year and I think it's a good cheat for the December Diary to help catch me up. I love James Taylor almost as much as I do Paul Simon. I always will.

With my gorgeous friend , Gaby's JD leaving us soon I thought I would introduce you to Delilah or as she has come to be known as in the household, Lilah. She flew into our house one day injured and sadly there was nothing that could be done for her wing so we had to amputate. She has been with us ever since... she enjoyed watching Tinkerbell today...she told me she had even met her before!
Goals shot in Macro. Goals are set because I know they're good for me, shot in macro because that's the reality. In the big scheme of life yes, goals should get you where you want to be, but things have to be kept in perspective. Shot for 7DOS, Weekly theme one object, Daily theme - Macro Monday.
