i was stressed about the dentist cause i hadn't been in like 2 years, but today.... 1 cavity (whatever), 1 filling that needs fixing, and they want me to get my last 2 wisdom teeth out (okay, okay) and then get braces again (uh, no).

best part? they give you these goggles and let you watch movies! they have a whole library of DVDs they bought off the street (!!). i watched Walk the Line - obviously filmed by a guy holding a camcorder in the theater. awesome!

("the magician" works, but "magician" gives me Yellow Pages listings for, well, magicians...)

I was there for 2 hour and only saw about half the show... looks like i'm going back tomorrow :)

At the end of every semester, ITP students show off their warez. Probably the most inspiring thing you'll see all year. (full disclaimer: this is where I went to grad school :)

On the wall at the vault in Herrell's, Harvard Square

(seen outside the indie toy store on (9th btw 2nd and 3rd). btw, no kids want indie toys. especially indie toys targeted at smart kids. even the dumb kids want legos!

What are the odds I heard the price wrong???

ps: I think this show is only up till Thurs - go at lunch today so you don't miss it.

The On the Go! Travel Station — a new interactive touch-screen that offers MTA travel information and a whole lot more – is up and running at the Bowling Green station. The pilot at Bowling Green (4 and 5 lines) is part of a pilot project that, within the next few weeks, will include a total of five subway stations and commuter rail hubs. We were driving back from the airport Sunday night and spotted this from the W'burg bridge and were pretty wow'ed by the scope of this thing.

Opera Gallery (Spring & Mercer, almost across from Burton Store) is really worth walking thru every now and then.

I need to go back and see how the artist made the carpet / shoelaces. I'll try to get some better up-close pics. (you can see some of the magic if you click "All Sizes" but I'm still confused by this)
