Riley just stopping by to say hi.
He's feeling a bit left out on the photostream since Gracie came along.
Isn't he just the most handsomest boy ever.

This is one of the 200 or so lighthouses for sale by the US Coast Guard. It has been for sale for many years and almost had a buyer but the restrictions and upkeep are too costly for local governments, historical societies or individuals.
It would be lovely to live here during a Lake Erie summer not so lovely during a Lake Erie winter unless you like below zero temps and 6 - 10 foot waves crashing against your home.

Always something to do on the fishing boats.
I liked the colours and arrangement of the jetty and nets then saw the skipper preparing for sea; Newhaven harbour.
I usually paddle here in the summer time, past this lighthouse.
This is dedicated to Nicolas, who encourages me to get my kayak out :)
He lives in Ireland and can paddle & fish from kayak already!
Took a boat from Oslo to Nesodden, a 25min crossing on the sea.
Two weeks ago, not much changes in the sea since then...
Lots of ice, only a narrow open passage, the ice was heard rattling by the sides of boat.
On the boat for Venice. Weather was awful, but I love that green color of the channel. I am traveling towards the Venice Carnival. :)

"Uma luz dentro. Como descrever uma luz assim?
Uma súbita ausência. Uma guerra invisível entre perigos.
O não-tempo sagrado do rosto desfigurado,
o rosto é a sombra de sua alma.
A nascente de seus olhos é obscura.
Olhar de veludo úmido. Olhos de vaca ordenhada.
Pérolas mornas. Borboleta no casulo.
Bebe seu ser real na concha das mãos.
Esquece de ser quem é.
Quem sou eu? Quem sou eu?
Ela só se lembra do dia de amanhã."

de Ana Miranda.
