Loris Diran Boutique, The Bowery, New York City, USA.

I shot and interviewed Versace disciple Loris Diran in his Bowery boutique while on assignment in New York City.

Loris was fantastically accommodating and a great interview . He was also a breeze to photograph. As a former model and actor Loris is comfortable in front of the camera. I think that's pretty obvious. He also offered us some white wine before the shoot. That made my job easier.

The magazine feature I wrote on NYC fashion should be out sometime in the next week or two, and when I get my PDF copy I'll throw it up here along with a few more NYC frames. Until then, this is Loris.

I have to say thanks to Jahrensy and Damian for helping me out on this shoot and with all the other stuff we shot in NY. I wanted to travel as light as possible (no one wants to carry lightstands through Manhattan in the winter), meaning our light work was very run-and-gun... just the way I like it!

Spirit Phenomenon, 2016.

My Life in 3 Easy Payments is a one man stage show staring and written by Dale Guy Madison and directed by Yvonne Farrow.

Guilty as charged!

Right in front of my nose, huge buildings, occupied by hundreds of families.

Downtown San Paulo, Brazil.

Few blocks from the City Hall, the Stock Exchange, the Central Bank among so many other fundamental, worthy and basic institutions.

In just one of the buildings, 475 families occupies 27 unfinished floors.

Kids play and run.

Clotheslines on the outside of the building, without any protection from falling down and in front of the entire city.

Windows, with breathtaking views, of one of the biggest and most populated cities on the Planet, made of compensated wood or sticks, even at the 27th floor.

People that use strength and organization to impose their reality, to a society that doesn’t care to listen.

Guilty as charged!

client: fitted hawaii. assignment - fall delivery 1 lookbook. canon eos 5d mkii, 50mm f/1.2L, 35mm f/1.4L.

On assignment for Canned Creative, capturing images for a corporate website. The challenge here, was that although the unit is beautiful, with great finishes, the home has been simply furnished and was not dressed for photography. It was agreed that in future a unit will be dressed, so that the dream can be captured adequately.

Last year Sarah, Darrin and I were at MOA and Leeza Gibbons was there taping the SHEER COVER infomercial. Lastnight Sarah and I found SHEER COVER at Target and she bought it!
