Guilty as charged!
Right in front of my nose, huge buildings, occupied by hundreds of families.
Downtown San Paulo, Brazil.
Few blocks from the City Hall, the Stock Exchange, the Central Bank among so many other fundamental, worthy and basic institutions.
In just one of the buildings, 475 families occupies 27 unfinished floors.
Kids play and run.
Clotheslines on the outside of the building, without any protection from falling down and in front of the entire city.
Windows, with breathtaking views, of one of the biggest and most populated cities on the Planet, made of compensated wood or sticks, even at the 27th floor.
People that use strength and organization to impose their reality, to a society that doesn’t care to listen.
Guilty as charged!

Times Square, Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA.
On assignment for Changi Class Magazine.
[Info to come!]
Megan, the happy tourista, does Times Square! I think Megan's favorite part of NY was the giant Toys R Us, but don't quote me on that. I know mine would have been WD50.
I was lucky to have Jahrensy and Damian along for the ride on this NYC adventure. See what they have to say about it.

Last week, I had my first experience shooting images for marketing purposes. Colleagues of mine at a design firm hired a video production company to shoot footage for a promotional DVD, and hired me to get stills for the website (and possibly a brochure).
The video people coordinated the locations and the models (some were volunteers from the client and the design firm), and I got to piggyback onto all their efforts. For example, the light on the model's face is wonderful thanks to the lighting equipment the camera men set up for the video. He left it up for a few minutes so I could get its benefits, too.
I couldn't ask for a better set-up. Still, it was a lot of scrambling and pressure to get the shots. This one is my favorite -- she's a wonderful model, the supplemental lighting makes a world of difference, and the market activity in the background helps the image look less staged.
I have officially invested in another exciting chapter of my life and photography. I ordered lighting. A B800 [limited edition Fire Orange 278/2000 and a B1600!
