Leicester Freestyle Wrestling were proud to host "The Battle of Midlands 2023" Freestyle Wrestling Competition on Saturday 21st October 2023.

The 18th International Helsinki Open Wrestling tournament!
The competition was held on December 14th – December 15th 2024 at URHEA HALL.
The annually arranged Helsinki Open is a leading Nordic Freestyle Wrestling Tournament with categories ranging from kids to seniors.
The 18th Helsinki Open is the biggest in history.
This year there are a record number of participating countries, teams and wrestlers!

On Sunday, 9th December, 2018 BVB Alumni Association Pune Chapter conducted "The BVB Alumni 2nd International Meet" in the auspices of Novotel Hotel situated on the Pune Ahmednagar highway. The celebrated author and philanthropist Mrs.Sudha Murty, who is alumna herself, was the Chief Guest of this grand function. Function was graced by over 250 delegates who all graduated from our grand 72 year old Institute, gathered from different citiies in India and many delegates from nearly ten countries.
Mrs. Sudha Murty addressed a spell bound audience with anecdotes of the years she spent in our College between 1968 and 1972. Engaging the audience who were in apt attendtion, she related how it was to be alone and the first ever female student in an Engineering College in the entire state of Karnataka. The assembly also was addressed by other illustrious alumni like, the present Chairman of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Dr.Anil Sahasrabudhe and former Water Resources Minister of Karnataka Mr.Basavaraj Bommai. Our Alma Mater, which is now raised to State Private University under the name KLE Technlogical University was represented by the Chairman of KLE Society Dr.Prabhakar Kore and the Vice Chancellor Dr.Ashok Shettar.
This well attended conference which was lauded by one and all of the attending delegates, was organised by the Pune Chapter of BVB Alumni association, which was headed by Mr.Dileep Miskin and team membrs of Pune.
