Overcast conditions on the Olympic coast provided soothing, muted coastal colors while obtaining painterly results with multiple exposures with my camera.

The relatively low altitudes (8000 ft. at the highest peak) makes hiking in the park fairly easy.

Had a great time visiting this park for only two short days last year. I'm really looking forward to the day I can go back and spend time backpacking here.
The Olympic Theater was built as a Sokol Slavsky Community Organization for the Czech population. Cicero had a growing Czech population and the Olympic had an auditorium, ballroom, gym, and pool. It was very popular for a long time and even into the mid 90's the Olympic would show movies and shows. It closed for a few years in the late 90's but opened again for concerts and plays. Sadly a small roof fire occurred in 2018 and it has not opened since. The fire damaged a restaurant, offices, a dental office and the Olympic Theater
