This gate has appeared sometime this week. The track, which leads off the one leading from the car park, takes you to the track around the old plantation, or you can branch off up to the rim of the Blaen Bran reentrant ( the “Borgo Pass”). I assume it is to deter off-road motorcyclists, but permitting horses to negotiate it. Clearly, whoever erected it doesn't understand the concept of an off-road motorbike; see the next image.
