This tow was 8 miles from a paved road. Far outside AAA and other Roadside assistance programs coverage area.

The Great Salt Lake - GPS is not the exact spot of the photo.

No need to comment – Just enjoy :-)

This pied-billed grebe was enjoying the warm sun to help dry its wings.

A part demolished factory in Keighley, West Yorkshire is left open to the elements.

A male Bushtit took off from it`s perch as I was trying to catch the action,,,,,,,, :)

The great gray owl took off for the prey in the ground.

A super sunrise from last year

An Great Egret is approaching take off from this branch on Grindstone Creek.

What looks like a noisy face-off among the nesting Royal Spoonbills was actually surprisingly quiet apart from the flapping of wings. The open bills looked quite dramatic and threatening.

I've been visiting here regularly in hope of one day soon seeing some little spoonbills. Still a way to go yet.

Happy Wings Wednesday!

This week's theme for Mosaic Montage Monday was Off White. These dance through Summer's last days. HMMM!

Hillarys Marina on a beautiful overcast winters day. Beautiful light. Loving the contrasting vivid colours in this scene.

Another huge storm hitting the South Wales coast, early evening. The huge waves were almost biblical.

... beside the River Spodden, Whitworth Valley UK

I went out for a drive in the rain today to see if there was any snowy action... this snowy owl surprised me at first coming out from behind the break-water rocks at the wharf... he flew out onto the bay and caught something in his talons... then flew off away from me to scare away another snowy coming toward him. Then he landed on the navigation light close to where I was. I waited for about another half hour till he decided to fly off and I got this shot. They are so fast and I was in my car as to not get soaked ... I did manage to get him all in the frame ... lol

A lot of posturing and theatrics but eventually they just walked off in separate directions
