The view from Pier 17 in Davis Bay.
It helps if you are eating Gelato with your feet up while enjoying this view.
View looking north across Lincoln Ave. towards Oceanview (a.k.a. Ocean View) in Olive Heights. Lakeside Professional Building has stood on the northeastern corner since the early 1970s, which was the site of the second Olive Mill from 1890 to 1924. A railroad spur ran along the edge of Lincoln Avenue to the tracks on Orange-Olive Road (then named Railroad St.) until the 1960s when they were removed. If you head up Oceanview to Bixby Ave. and look south from that point, you can see the Pacific Ocean on a clear day. Photo taken on July 29, 2016.
After visiting Harry, I decided to make my way down the line & pay a visit to all the koalas :~)
Next yard is Oceanview Terry. He was also curled up asleep, but the sound of the gate woke him.
I was leaving his yard, after taking a couple of shots, to see his head follow me. So I turned around and took a picture of him looking through the fork :~)
