The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District completes the Caserma Ederle Conditioning Obstacle Course in Vincenza, Italy August 15, 2012. The ten-obstacle course is an $85,000 Range Training and Land Program funded project which was requested by the previous 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team leadership during the Range Development Plan process. The intent is to provide an additional physical fitness training option on Caserma Ederle as well as to provide a venue for training Soldiers to efficiently move themselves and their equipment in full combat gear. Organised by a team of former & current Royal Marines delivering our 'Goppin' Challenge obstacle races within Somerset. Our passion is providing people with fun, challenging events to promote team-work and self-belief in unforgiving environments!
Belton's own obstacle race, and its sponsored by ASCO Equipment in Belton TX. Its a 5K course composed of a Mud pit, Zip lines, rope swings, 15 ft cargo net climb, ice bath and more along Nolan Creek. 100% of all proceeds go to the year's chosen charity and will be matched dollar for dollar by ASCO!

KIRKUSH MILITARY TRAINING BASE, Iraq – U.S. Army Staff Sgt. William Lucus, Company A, 1st Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, supervises an obstacle course race at Kirkush Military Training Base, Iraq, March 12, 2011. The Iraqi soldiers learned good physical fitness techniques while getting a change of pace from day-to-day classes at KMTB, said Lucus, a resident of Ewa Beach, Hawaii. The Iraqi soldiers from 4th Brigade, 21st Brigade, 5th IA Division, raced against their U.S. counterparts during the event. Part of the 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, the Company A Soldiers lead battalions of the IA through 25-day training rotations at KMTB as part of Tadreeb al Shamil, an Iraqi military initiative aimed at modernizing national defense capabilities.
