"The moment unashamed...." You gotta' love Hollywood ad copy...... Almost poetic. Also the plug for The Robe.

"Your job is to make your audience care about your obsessions"

This was a quote I heard by the Boss, Bruce Springsteen, tonight on a CBS 60 Minutes interview. He was being asked 'why'. Having just turned 58, why a new body of work, why write about the things that you do, why tour, why anything with a huge bank account? He said as an artist, it's your job to make your audience care about your obsessions. Now don't get me wrong, I don't think of myself as an artist. But, I do think of myself as being obsessive! And by golly, I'm gonna see to it that you care about my obsessions :-)

So, with that being said, here's another of my shots from Saturday morning along the Brandywine! I think I still have one more to post yet.

This necklace was inspired by the character of the Queen in the Snow White and the Huntsman movie - Charlize Theron portraying the Queen is the embodiment of cold beauty, obsession and madness.

Dark and mysterious necklaces consists of a hand-formed mirror pendant made in fine and sterling silver. It was partially oxidised to graphite and the frame has a more layered form. The pendant hangs on a thick (3mm) black leather cord finished with a silver clasp.

The pendant is 5,5cm long and 3,5cm wide.

The cord is 45cm long and has a 5cm chain extension. I can adjust the cord length for you.

What do you do with your Friday nights? Give your cat food to trick her into being cute in pictures with you? Yeah. Me, too. Don't worry. It is totally normal behavior.

So Eve has an obsession with the tunnel which makes her agility training rather difficult. It goes a little something like this:

Me: Eve Jump!

Eve: That mean run though this blue tunnel thing right?!

Me: No Eve, jump the hurtle, JUMP!

Eve: You really meant to say tunnel right?!

Me: Eve... JUMP!

Eve: No... Tunnel!

Me: Eve please jump this...

Eve: TUNNNNEL!!

Me: sigh. fine. Eve tunnel...

Eve: OK!

This scent by Calvin Klein is a spicy oriental, woody and ambery. I like it very much.

Some people thinks it smells of chocolate!

the japanese are obsessed with pachinko, a gaming device that resembles a vertical pinball machine, but with no flippers and a large number of relatively small balls.

pachinko parlors are everywhere...big boxes with garish colors, flashing lights and neon signs.

as soon as you step up to the electric doors they slide open and deafening noise greets you, it's very bright inside with rows and rows of machines. and players sitting there in deep concentration!

i was curious to see inside such a parlor.....unfortunately i was only able to take this picture before a man came and told me to stop!

not every japanese is a friendly person it seems.

Well this had to come.

Troi:Don't you see, Mr. Minator? This singleminded, almost robotic pursuit of Sarah Connor is slowly stripping you of the last outer vestiges of your humanity and leaving you as being little better than a nearly mindless automaton with only one ruthless goal in mind!

T.R. Minator: But I am a ruthless, robotic automaton!

Troi: That's just your warped perception of yourself. I believe you are capable of being so much more. You've got to learn to start seeing this potential in yourself as well.

T.R.MInator: No, I was only programmed with one purpose in mind.

Troi: Free your mind! YOU are in control of your own actions, not this fictional "Skynet" that you claim created you. Besides what would you do if you found Sarah Connor? Would it really fulfill you? Or is this just a construct you've created for yourself? Why put conditions on your own happiness? There is plenty of joy to be found in the here and now, in everyday life. Your happiness shouldn't be dependent purely on completing a given task.

T.R.Minator: Finding Sarah Connor WOULD fulfill my programming.

Troi: You remind me of a friend I once had, he also thought he just just some kind of robot, but he found that he could go beyond the narrow confines of his programming and find his own way in the world.

T.R. Minator: This is getting me nowhere. If you cannot assist me with locating Sarah Connor, I am going to have to terminate this session.

Troi: But does Sarah Connor even want to be found by you? Have you ever stopped objectifying her long enough to consider her as a real person with her own perfectly valid thoughts and feelings on the matter?

T.R. Minator: You just don't get it. I'm leaving.

Troi: I'm sorry you feel this way. I'll always be here for you if you need someone to talk to.

T.R. Minator: Don't worry, I WON'T be back!
