Depuis 2009, Floyd Obsession s'applique à reproduire le plus fidèlement possible le répertoire mythique du groupe Pink Floyd.
Les Alsaciens exercent aussi leurs talents en offrant une version acoustique de leur hommage au groupe de David Gilmour, Roger Waters et consorts. Les géants du psychédélisme ont écrit quelques-unes des plus prestigieuses pages de la musique de leur époque, trois décennies durant.
Avec l'éxigence de la perfection,Floyd Obsession se plonge dans les grands albums du groupe.
Pour le grand retour des huit musiciens alsaciens sur les traces de leur obsession favorite Floyd Obsession recrée aussi avec soin les spectaculaires mises en scène Pink floydiennes...le concert a été ENORME.

i have the obsession with citrus trees right now. probably because they are the few bits of color.
i need to obsess on eating the citrus instead of just photographing it ;)
Like most (all) others, I have noticed the obvious differences in my life and surroundings over the past few weeks. Even amongst all the talks of "work from home" and "quarantine", not much has struck me more than the eerie silence of the west side of the city.
Noon on a Thursday should be a street full of cars. Pedestrians. Horns honking. Trains passing overhead. Anything but silence.
The trains still pass, but from what I see they are mostly empty, Probably the same amount as the streets are. I can walk a mile round trip and see MAYBE 5 people.
It's beyond surreal at this point. That described the first couple of days. Now, sadly, I have a hard time envisioning it EVER going back to "the way it was". It doesn't even seem possible at this point.

Je n'en ai toujours pas fini avec les ellipses-cibles : voici une nouvelle version qui allie unis ("shot cotton" de Kaffe Fassett) et imprimés, rayures et pois, dans une tonalité automnale réveillée de touches printanières.
Les grandes ellipses seront quiltées à la main comme dans la version rouge.

This is my response to Deb's photo in our game of Photo Tennis!
I really wanted to go down this route again, especially as it was Fairport's Cropredy Convention this weekend!
I decided to go with my collection of Dr Martens instead - two pairs are missing (these wedges and these mary janes) but it's still shrunk a fair amount from this photo! (Both the navy and turquoise ones died a death!)
YES! My third Blacky! Not my best shot, but I love this angle and the car is so sick! Yes Gordon, I am obsessed with this car!

Ok, I'll admit it. I can get a little obsessive about things, especially shoes and clothes. When I like something I tend to buy the same or similar in different colours and it's the same with certain brands. So here's a little taste of some of the things I can get obsessive about.

The Dollmaker was obsessed with perfection and spent hours upon hours ensuring that Emily was perfect in every way. Emily's hatred for the Dollmaker grew stronger and stronger. My focus for this picture was to show Emily secretly watching the Dollmaker as she obsessed over her. I particularly liked the fact that the reflection in the mirror was different to what was going on.

ashley is a pro model and someone i greatly enjoy working w/ and chris is her boyfriend and together they are just the hottest couple ever. and i have a ton of shots from tonight to upload soon. :) the color version of this is amazing i think, but i love the intensity of b/w of course!
From time to time I've posted photos of watches. I used to think I had a bit of a watch obsession. Now I KNOW I have!
There have been several "wallet accidents" over the last year involving watches. Here are two of them. In fact they are the first (on the left) and last watches bought in 2015. If I ignore the one that is due to arrive in the post in the next few days.
I've gone from being an accuracy freak who would only buy radio controlled, solar powered watches to the polar opposite. Mechanical watches. Nowhere near quartz/RC accuracy but way, way more interesting to me.
And a bonus to the "watch problem" is that my camera has surfaced again after many months of collecting dust. Watches are things of such beauty that I just had to try to do them justice photographically.
So here we have my Seiko SKX009 on the left and it's more expensive cousin, the SBDC005. The SBDC has also finally satisfied a longing I've had for years to own an orange watch :-)
