Me, Siggi (the model) and Haukur Jó went shooting Aurora like any serious photographer in Iceland did last Saturday. The combination of clear skies, snowy foreground and highly active Aurora is a rare thing in Iceland but it makes a great shot.
Taken on Mosfellsheiði, between Reykjavík and Þingvellir.

In this selection of photographs from my recent visit to Melbourne, the focus is on the rail network that provides the 5.2 million residents of Greater Melbourne with the best transport system in Australia.
As you'll see with these three photographs today, I have played around with the colour palette to create a mood and emphasize key elements in the pictures.

Thank you very much for your kind comments, favorites and looking
I created an album with some of my colorful photos ( I dont upload them all ). Sometimes I like colored ones more, but black and white is more comfortable for me, so thats the reason why I didnt upload all of them. There is still some a magical moment for me, but bw is my creative foundation.

About the bird (Thanks to Tarique for the ID)
The pipits are a cosmopolitan genus, Anthus, of small passerine birds with medium to long tails. Along with the wagtails and longclaws, the pipits make up the family Motacillidae. The genus is widespread, occurring across most of the world, except the driest deserts, rainforests and the mainland of Antarctica.
They are slender, often drab, ground-feeding insectivores of open country. Like their relatives in the family, the pipits are monogamous and territorial. Pipits are ground nesters, laying up to six speckled eggs.
