Happy Bench Monday!

With the surf gently kissing the rocks the observation tower, at the House of Refuge, stands against a blue sky on Hutchinson Island near Stuart, Florida.

Our marina has a store for its patrons and on the second floor of the building is this open-air observation platform that overlooks the boats and Lake Michigan.

I caught it here in the dying light of the day.

Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. Sometimes it is the small details that catch your eye as a street shooter. Here, it was the intensity of her false eyelashes and how striking there are. Enjoy!

Curious children watching from the bridge that leads to Turtuk village in Nubra valley - the last village before the line of control with Pakistan.

Back to colourful Wroclaw buildings and this time it's the turn of the so-called Salt Square. I took advantage of a temporary raised platform in the Square to get an elevated viewpoint, something which is always advantageous when you're trying to limit the effect of converging verticals.

From Wikipedia : "The 13th century Main Market Square (Rynek) features the Old Town Hall. In the north-west corner of the market square there is the St. Elisabeth's Church (Bazylika Św. Elżbiety) with its 91.46 m tower, which has an observation deck (75 m). North of the church are the Shambles with Monument of Remembrance of Animals for Slaughter (pl). The Salt Square (now a flower market) is located at the south-western corner of the market square. Close to the square, between Szewska and Łaciarska streets, there is the St. Mary Magdalene Church (Kościół Św. Marii Magdaleny) established in the 13th century."
