M42 Orion Nebula composite of 30 stacked images to reduce noise.
Shot from my Canon 52 Mark III with the Canon IS 24-105mm lens at 105mm, F/4.0. 8000 ISO for about 3.9 seconds on a standard tripod untracked.
First attempt at any astrophotography at all. Spotted without a telescope; I'm just happy my camera could see this.
The object is to remain 8 seconds on the horse while holding on with only one hand... Ride 'em, cowboy!
A painting that reminded me of my older brother when we were kids. Hence the title. Made with acrylic and found objects on canvas.
Just a reflection in a rear view mirror. Although the common warning "Objects in Mirror..." isn't anywhere in sight. Sounds unsafe to me.

This was one of the cleanest and well maintained trails I have ever hiked with very few signs even visable. But, about 2/3 of the way to the top you round a rock face and see some manmade construction. What is it?
