Asterix comics usually start with the following introduction:
The year is 50 BC. Gaul is entirely occupied by the Romans. Well, not entirely... One small village of indomitable Gauls still holds out against the invaders. And life is not easy for the Roman legionaries who garrison the fortified camps of Totorum, Aquarium, Laudanum and Compendium..

Danke an Uwe!
In flic.kr/p/2j1gkRn I learned that the cooling tower on the left is nicknamed "Obelix", quite a fitting name. Thanks to Uwe.
And yes, I did it again (oops), I turned the blue channel into negative to blacken the sky. I hope I have compensated somewhat for the resulting artefacts.

Double Exposure

That´s one of my bunny babies from last year, he is as big as my mainecoon cat... Have a great day! :)
Well, maybe not Obelix. Actually, it (I mean the arrangement of basalt rocks, of course, the surge barrier needs no explanation...) is a project by Marinus Boezem: vanderleeuwstichting.nl/projecten/beeldende-kunst/kathedr...
It all started with the Obelix bust I created 2 years ago. I knew I would eventually build his partner Asterix, since they share many critical characteristics as the helmet, the nose, ears and cheeks. Then I decided to suggest them both as pair on Lego Ideas because I feel they might generate a lot of interest from big Asterix & Obelix fans like me!
If you feel like it, take the time to support in on Lego Ideas to become an official Lego set.
