"This certainly isn't MY choice for 52 Weeks for Dogs group but it is Mom's. She caught me chewing the scraps of tennis ball that the field mowers had torn up and from halfway across the field screamed, "Leave it, Benni!", so I did.
For those of you who are just getting to know me I have a tennis ball addiction and have eaten two of them. I had to go to the vet's to have Xrays to see if the pieces were too big to pass - no problem. But no one wants me to go through THAT again!
Another reason I don't like this photo is that my head looks too big for my body which it isn't. I was lunging away because Gracie had stolen my Lacrosse ball and was running away with it! Oh well, I got it back and didn't swallow any of the tennis ball - life is good!"

The heavy rains at the western ghats region had brought in heavy flow of water in almost all the falls in this region. All dams had attained its maximum storage capacity.It is just awesome to visit places near this area ..
This corrugation is exactly what it says on the tin: blintzed bird bases tiled side by side. Large tilings have a slight tendency towards curling but it can be overcome by folding all creases sharp and applying a little force in the direction opposite of the curl. Folded the right size, this corrugation could be used as an egg carton or as a set of small containers for screws, nails, candy or other small objects.

Kilchurn Castle, Loch Awe
A non-starter for our way into Glencoe, we tried to shoot the Castle but the weather was truly awful.
Waiting around for a few hours and an aborted attempt we were finally given a break in the rain and an opportunity to shoot the remote Kilchurn Castle.

En las vacaciones del pasado verano, era mi intención plasmar en fotografía una idea que tenía en mente, una estampa de inspiración romántica y pictorialista, que con mi Super Ikonta de película, pretendía lograr al modo de antaño. Finalmente, por variados y diferentes motivos, no pudo ser, y hube de conformarme con intentar dotar al viejo molino del Morelló de Calpe, con mi Canon 50D y algo de trabajo de edición, de una añeja intemporal y épica apariencia, para tratar así de compensar tal frustración. No obstante, esa idea, casi secreta, pues sólo unos pocos conocían sus detalles, que no pude realizar en el pasado, quedaba pendiente para el futuro: un secreto pasado y futuro, tal y como reza el título de la tonada de Blind Guardian :-)
Para los más curiosos, debo decir que mi idea compositiva se trataba de una escena con una doncella vestida de blanco en lo alto de un acantilado, por encima de las olas, con el mar embravecido en la tormentosa oscuridad... al final, no hubo tormenta y el acantilado acabó convirtiéndose en ese viejo molino, y la doncella de blanco atavío, en una gaviota :-)
Ya no hay secreto alguno :-)

On my last summer vacation, I wanted to depict on a photograph an idea I had in my mind: a picture of romantic and pictorialist inspiration, which would be made in the old fashion way with my veteran Super Ikonta film camera. Finally, for many different reasons, I could not achieve it. Instead, I had to resign myself to try to capture the old mill of Morelló in Calpe (Spain), trying to give it with my DSLR, and some edition work, an aged, timeless and epic look, to attempt to overcome that frustration. However, that almost secret idea, since only a few ones knew its details, which I could not carry out in the past, still remained on my mind as a future project to attain: a past and future secret, as the Blind Guardian song title says :-)
For the curious amongst you, I must say that my compositive idea was a scene with a maiden high on a cliff dressed in white, above the waves, whit the sea, surging in stormy darkness... finally, there was no storm and the cliff turned into the old mill, and the maiden in white became a seagull :-)
So there is no secret now :-)
