Happy Smile on Saturday!
It was a cloudy evening over the gulf as the sun was setting on the West end of Navarre Beach Florida.

What difference a day makes. Twenty-four hours earlier this view was hidden by thick hill-fog.
Chesterton Windmill is a 17th-century cylindric stone tower windmill with an arched base, located outside the village of Chesterton, Warwickshire. The windmill is one of Warwickshire's most famous landmarks. It stands on a hilltop overlooking the village of Chesterton for nearly 350 years. It is near the Roman Fosse Way and about five miles (8 km) south-east of Warwick. It was built around 1632-1633 and it is built of hard local limestone, with sandstone detailing, on a shallow platform of 71 feet 9 inches (21.87 m) in diameter. The mill tower with a cap height of 36 feet (11 m), unique worldwide in structure and mechanics, is supported on six semicircular arches, on piers, the outer faces of which are arcs of circles radiating from a common centre.
An intriguing view using a work of art as a leverage for beauty, both the monument and the City itself.

A Red-bellied Woodpecker moves over a frond to the next tree, using it like a bridge. That was surprising!

One of my favourite views, from the cliffs over artificial lake Jeziorsko. Unfortunately more and more people drive up the cliffs, no matter hor hard the farmers try to stop them... Sad... They leave rubbish and play loud music... On the other hand, nature is strong and the people don't stay for long there :-)

As usual, Bart interrupted my flower photography in the kitchen tonight. He misses me when I'm gone for much of the day, and needs his attention. I took my camera off the tripod, put the flash on, and switched the camera to my animal settings, then snapped a few photos. My 105mm macro lens is also good for portraits. Behind him is my new sequined backdrop, with rainbow stripes, also seen as bokeh in the rose photo that precedes this one.
We should all have a place we like to go when everything gets to much and i have decided this is mine .

Taken along the trail in the Ventura Botanical Garden overlooking part of downtown and the Pacific on a gray day.
This image was taken almost 10 years ago, in June 2011, the location is Grassington, North Yorkshire, this bridge goes over the River Wharfe. The original image was a little drab with a featureless sky. I removed some of the distractions such as a car and people on the bridge. I used the sky replacement tool, boosted the colours and also added a tilt-shift effect to focus more on the bridge.
This is a little bit mainstream, I know... but I think this is the best spot in the world for capturing the sunset.
