Pidgeon Eyes
Orange or Yellow Irises
Most pigeons have red or orange-colored eyes.
This is largely due to genetics and that’s why the color is passed from parent pigeons to their babies.
The actual eye isn’t red, but the color comes from the concentration of blood vessels that surround the iris of the pigeon’s eye, which is usually yellow or white.
The more blood vessels a pigeon has around the iris, the redder it will look. Fewer blood vessels make the eye look more yellow or orange, which is the bird’s iris showing through.
The deep color of a pigeon’s blood vessels can also influence how red the eye looks.
Hello awesome Flickr People !!
So today we have a triple challenge. First of all it is an orange day at Color my World Daily .The theme at Crazy Tuesday is Minimalist (which obviously I’m not since I’m a proud hoarder !!). And of course we have Mr. Teddy Bear with us to celebrate the Happy Teddy Bear Tuesdays.
Unfortunately for us, Mr. Teddy Bear is far from a minimalist himself. He collects all kinds of items and he loves all of his personal collections equally…. Which makes it very difficult to decide when comes time to downsize and organize his homes… Of course, he is a small teddy bear, living in a small house: he doesn't need much ! but all his possessions are bringing him pleasure so he keeps everything…But sometimes, Mr. Teddy Bear feels overwhelmed with all his « stuff »…So when the « minimalist » in Mr. Teddy Bear needs some time alone, he just meditates… He sees himself floating on a giant egg, very free and light… Nothing else matters: Mr. Teddy Bear is on his egg and there is nothing else to bother him… Very minimal decor and only peace on his mind…
Have a beautiful day my friends !! See you later !
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and healthy!! And see you soon on Flickr!!

for Macro Mondays group - muscari in my garden. What I really wanted was a ladybird crawling on the flower, but I couldn't find any.

I use "Big Head" for more fun.
For someone, orange groves - a common occurrence.
