The second I saw this design I fell in love and absolutely had to build it. I hope you all like it as much as I do.
The eyes, antler and spine tips and underbelly are all glow in the dark just like on the original as well.
Travelers from afar come to Banshee Canyon, the retreat of the Oracle, in their quest for knowledge.
This photo was taken by a Kowa/SIX medium format film camera and KOWA 1:3.5/55mm lens with a Zenza Bronica 67mm SY48•2C(Y2) filter using Rollei RPX 100 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

Orakeln unmöglich!!!
Dabei habe ich den Anden Kondor nur gefragt, wie Deutschland heute spielen wird ?
Enjoyed a ballgame in one of the best ballparks in the US -- with a stunning view of the Bay. When my son expressed interest in watching a SF Giants vs. Minnesota Twins, I jumped on the chance to experience this wonderful ballpark

Hidden remains the path to absolute truth and the authentic essence.
These three pilgrims consult the Oracle at Senso-Ji Buddhist temple, Tokyo's oldest.
A lady participating, was kind enough to explain to me, though I may have garbled some details:
To the left of the picture is what she called a stick, that is rattled after you pose a question, and this then tells you which drawer to take your answer from. The lady on the right is just getting hers.
After reading the answer, the answer is either tied to a wire frame (picture here) or burned (picture here).
I had an appointment nearby and decided to swing by the very imposing Oracle complex of blue glass buildings since there was a sultry, cloudy sky to set them off. Usually when I'm here, there is bright blue sky, which isn't particularly interesting to photograph. I decided to go with a more dramatic HDR treatment to show off the textured sky.
You really have to watch where you step around here - the lagoon is overrun with aggressive geese and ducks and their droppings are everywhere !
By the way, scenes from Robin Williams’ 1999 movie, “Bicentennial Man” were filmed here since it has such a futuristic vibe.
Very "high tech" looking buildings in Silicon Valley. They appeared in quite a few movies if you can think of any. Another HDR auto-bracketing with seven exposures around sunset time.

This is a photo of the 'Spiral Fountain' at Darling Harbour (Sydney) NSW, Australia. As a first generation migrant to Australia, for me 'The Oracle' represents the gift of citizenship our wonderful country offers and the freedom I now have because of it. And because of this freedom I have received, it has been passed down to my first born son who can enjoy such things. In this way, the Child represents freedom, joy and new beginnings and the water represents the vitality & life of this great country, Australia. The spiral itself depicts the journey of many who have battled through and defeated obstacles in order to reach their final destination of 'The oracle'; that is, the gift of citizenship and calling Australia HOME.

Cheers mate!
Yes, I have to thank Duncan Smith for the wonderful word of gloaming. Somehow I never noticed the word before.
Sunset during a small rainstorm (and much lightning) near Oracle, as seen from Mount Lemmon, Tucson, Arizona.
Much better large.
No HDR.

Name: Oracle
Type: MIX
Pilot: Magdalen Azalea
Special Ability: 4Sight
Description: While some racers choose to bask in the fame and spotlight that comes from winning races, Magdalen Azalea, pilot of the Oracle, is certainly not one of those. In fact, little is actually known about her past. There are some rumors floating around the MRL's fanbase that she was once involved with criminal underworld that hides in the shadow of the MRL, but nothing is certain. What is certain is that her mecha is extraordinary. The Oracle is agile, fast, and relatively light despite its size. Its real strength lies in its 4Sight ability. The Oracle can deploy four drones while racing to give its pilot an extended aerial view of the track. This allows Magdalen's cybernetic eye to calculate the best path for the Oracle to take depending on track hazards or other racers. 4Sight allows the Oracle to move at high speeds in dangerous situations, and even helps it to dodge attacks from other mechs in the Rumble Races. When the Oracle needs some extra speed, its drones can latch onto its back and give boost.
- Build Notes -
So, this one was tough to build. It is a lot bigger than I had originally planned, but I really like its silhouette. It has pretty good poseability and its torso is really sturdy. The idea for the 4sight ability came from Aldnoah.Zero's Kataphrakts, specifically the Nilokeras. This MOC is little tricky to balance, but once you find the sweet spot it's not going anywhere. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks all!
This DreamWorld character has been in my head since the series' inception. She's taken over a year to bring to life, but she is well worth the wait!
The Oracle is inspired by the idea of precognitive dreams; dreaming about events before they happen. She lives in a space occupying both the present and past with a foot in each world, symbolized by the water which covers half her body.
The canopy and bubble "chandelier" was hand-made by myself, as always, on a non-existent budget. Read my blog to see how I made it happen!

Another photo from our camping trip a week ago. We were driving around looking for birds but didn't see any. We saw lots of cattle though! A lot of cattle are allowed to graze in the national forests in this area! How peculiar! I wonder how farmers round them up when they need their cows. I mean, the forests are huge, and the cows are huge....
