Twice now, I have encountered this white dove while out walking along the river. Her presence feels like a gift.
A wise old oracle with wispy silver hair? Nope. A least bittern chick. It's interesting, this chick appeared larger than the adult male in the nearby reeds. I'm guessing they're just a lot fluffier than the adults.
