He kept thinking the Brewers could come back. Possible, but not likely. When you are down 8-4 to one of the league's best bullpens (The Colorado Rockies) in the 9th inning, I don't know.

We lost a good Canadian this week.
Jack Layton, leader of the official opposition & National Democratic Party of Canada was a respected, much loved and caring politician. Starting on Toronto city council before moving to National politics, Jack was ALWAYS the voice for the common people.
In his final letter to Canadians, Jack wrote:
My friends, love is better than anger.
Hope is better than fear.
Optimism is better than despair.
So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic.
And we’ll change the world.

24.000 individually hand-painted hung black stones (and a red one).
The idea behind this piece of art was to showcase simple beauty if one works as a team and to mark the end of a very dark period in our lifetime.
The 2022 story
Two and a half years of COVID-related issues and the almost complete stop to tourism — now it’s time to create beauty again. The creation of the 2022 Christmas tree resembles a new beginning.
The black stones mark a very dark period in humanity and our own Jaya House history.
The one single Red stone represents life, individual effort and bravery. It resembles the fact that we are a generation that needs to be agile and creative. As a generation, we need to be ready for any future events and learn from the COVID era by being creative.
The tree, as a symbol of peace, also marks the numerous lives lost in our direct & in-direct circles of friends. We cannot forget the people who have lost their lives in Cambodia (and around the world) battling COVID.
The total tree is 6 meters tall and 4.2 meters wide, made possible by our 3 dedicated full-time staff members working tirelessly for 3 months.
Jaya House Hotels is optimistic about the future for the Cambodians, and is positive that together as a team, we can create beauty again today and long into the future.
Merry Christmas and have a great 2023.
