A piece in an exhibit of the art of Ecuadorean Oswaldo Guayasamín at the Espacio Cultural Nuestros Hijos, run by the Asociación Madres de Plaza de Mayo, which used to be the grounds of ESMA, the notorious site of many of the military regmes crimes of torture and murder.

Was optimistic that the sunset might produce some colour, so rang fellow Newcastle Sundance member Pom (aka John) and ventured the 45minutes from home to Valentine NSW.
Looking across Lake Macquarie - this image taken between the trees towards a public jetty and beyond towards Mark's Point.
A closer look will reveal cobwebs and spiders hanging between the trees, note also the heron in the shallows beyond the grasses.
Not much of a sunset colourwise, but a good time had by all anyway!

Optimistic a person as I usually am, I can't help feeling a little gloomy: as if mankind didn't have enough problems already, the whole financial system of our World is threatening to come to a complete standstill. It makes me want to cry out loud, as a bad actor in a disaster movie: " WE ARE ALL DOOOOOMMMMED!!!!!"
