One of my favourite lakes, hehe. See how I created this image at www.letsimage.com/2015/07/lake-guinness.html
There are actually two lovely little ponies kept on the property. This chesnut having a feed and the white one we saw in the "Oura Oura Slideshow", as it skipped along in the paddock below the majestic Dry's Bluff (Taytitikitheeker). Once again we can see the mountain towering up behind the little pony.
I'm dying of thirst, I must have one last drink before the search begins. I have always found this port town a wonderful place to quench my odd appetite, with much riff-raff of the lowest orders who make such fine companions when you're really feeling famished. You will often find them wandering alone some dark back alley, broken spirits long forgotten by this cold, unforgiving world and with no one to miss them after they are gone.

"What if one day I have to leave?" asked Chris, squeezing Teddy's couch. - What then? - Nothing much - assure him Pooh. - I'II just sit here and wait for You. When You someone, the other person newer disappears"

Pelicans, black swans and sea gulls are ubiquitous in the waters of Rhyll on Phillip Island. As the sun was going down, I watched this one paddling gently in the shallows. It seemed very aware that I was photographing it and even turned its head slightly towards the camera for this shot.

An early morning cropped capture of a male Green Peafowl (Pavo muticus). I hope to capture one in full tail feather display mode someday. Hopefully.....
"One World"
Can't get no sleeves for my records
Can't get no laces for my shoes
Can't get no fancy notes
On my blue guitar
I can't get no antidote for blues
Oh yeah, uh
Can't find the reasons for your actions
Or I don't much like the reasoning you use
Somehow your motives are impure
Somehow I can't find the cure
Can't get no antidote for blues
Oh yeah, uh
They say it's mostly vanity
That writes the plays we act
They tell me that's what everybody knows
There's no such thing as sanity
And that's the sanest fact
That's the way the story goes, oh yeah
Oh yeah, uh
Can't get no remedy on my TV
It's nothing but the same old news
Where they can't find a way to be
One world in harmony
Can't get no antidote for blues
Oh yeah, uh
Uh, oh yeah, uh
Alright.
Stop it!
There's been too much debate
We could save ourselves from holocaust
Or is that just our fate
Start now
But we continue to balk
We let the genie out of the bottle
But we still hold the cork
One, two - not! three, four - die!
One, two - not! three, four - die!
Ignorance, is no excuse
For violence
No one wins
One world! one world!!
One world! - welcome to it
One world! - don't abuse it
One world! - to live out your life
One world! - total schism
Tunnel vision.
One world - taming the beast
Fighting for peace
Killing,
You pushed a button, that's all you did
It's much harder to kill a man
If you've seen pictures of his kids
Responsibility
And what are all our lives worth?
What kind of sentence would you serve
For killing the earth
Russians
They're only people like us
Do you really think they'd blow up the world
They don't love their lives less
America
Stop singing hail to the chief
Instead of thinking s.d.i.
He should be thinking of peace
One world!!!

I joined flickr a year ago today with a photo of this letter box outside King's College, Cambridge. That first photo (see below) was Explored and was the commencement of quite a journey:-) I've had 176 photos Explored (whatever that's supposed to mean), almost 65,000 views (389,984 views aggregate), and, most of all, I've had immense fun here.
The greatest thing is to ENJOY photography. And I do try to be creative, informative and also add humour:-) I take this opportunity to thank everyone for their views, comments, faves, invites and testimonials.
This is a rare Victorian hexagonal letter box dating from 1866. That's Great St Mary's Church in the background.
