My keychain.
One and All is the motto that represents unity and inclusiveness and reflects the spirit of Cornish people. The fifteen balls (bezants/coins) on the shield is the coat of arms of the Duke of Cornwall. The bird is a chough and is a small, glossy black crow with a long, curved red bill and a symbol of Cornwall. The crown represents the Duchy of Cornwall. The miner and fisherman represent the trades of what once brought Cornwall much wealth.
This keychain holds my keys and reminds me of my Cornish roots day after day.
HMM!
Macro Mondays: Keychain

As I was driving by this old barnyard, I noticed a few chickens hurriedly making their way across the yard to the shed. Then I spied the problem. A cocky rooster was purposely strutting toward the hens with just one thing on his mind. All I could think of was that the farmer bought a new young rooster and the hens were not pleased. I wish I could have watched what unfolded, but I was stopped in the middle of a country road (yet again). I can hear the ladies now, “We want old Mr. Doodledont back again.”

You've been on my mind
I grow fonder every day
Lose myself in time
Just thinking of your face
God only knows why it's taken me
So long to let my doubts go
You're the only one that I want
I don't know why I'm scared
I've been here before
Every feeling, every word
I've imagined it all
You'll never know if you never try
To forget your past and simply be mine
Right next to the tea roses were some lillies.
I sat down to steady the camera and at that angle, with the late afternoon sun and the stormy sky behind this one, the background went quite dark..
One by one, our numbers can grow to overcome the darkness, if we set our minds to it..

Sitting on a garden bench at the bottom of the garden which is in a wooded area and looking up and listening to the many birds while finding relief from the blazing sun. Bliss. :-)

Qualcosa in televisione. Un libro dimenticato da tempo che si desiderava tanto leggere. E le mie foto da sistemare... :)
Benritrovati a tutti!!!! Piano piano arrivo con i commenti....
Well, I was a bit sick.... so i took a little break. Sometimes we need these days, no work, nothing to do, with the thoughts free to roam. A coffee. Something on TV. A forgotten book that you wanted so much to read. And my photos to arrange ... :)
Welcome back everyone!! Slowly I catch up with you for comments ....

A new plant in the garden initially sent up a single flower stalk. I took the usual 'head-on' shot but it was a little bit boring so I tried using the shadows of a background rock and quite like this result.
