OK, I've shot this tree a few times from this angle, but I can never resist when the mist is in the air and the faint glow of a morning sun is trying its best to burn it away. Taken at Wittenham Clumps, South Oxfordshire.

I hope you're all well.
I spent some time over the past week outdoors with my camera and on two such occasions I was lucky enough to find a barred owl. This is an image from the first time. In the midst of hunting it flew up to a beautiful perch and gave me fifteen minutes of one-on-one time. It was a truly special and the best time I've ever spent shooting this species.
May the year ahead bring better and happier times for us all.
One for Lunch happy little squirrel was very busy running around and looking for munchies, found in North Carolina.

So don’t get exited for me lol, think by the time I got my tripod camera filters and cable release sorted this had gone. I am not the fastest setting up..but grabbed this on my phone for the location as I don’t put GPS on in my camera...
This sort of scene in this light is rarer than a spotted Zebra as we have had wind and rain mostly but hey ho we are still enjoying our break before returning to lockdown at home ...

A local tulip from a month or two ago. Every time I see them in other people's gardens, I think how I must get myself some - and then I forget until next spring, and go through it all again!
