Smooth Pool south of Streaky Bay on Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. I will be away on a house boat on the River Murray for a week or so - not sure about internet access.
Portofino, with its colorful boats and stunning coastline, is a true Mediterranean gem. The picturesque harbor, surrounded by lush hills and sparkling waters, offers a serene escape that feels straight out of a dream. A place where vibrant colors meet natural beauty, making it a must-see destination for anyone seeking both tranquility and charm. 🌊🚤
Driftwood on a deserted island...okay, its actually Long Island, NY (population 7.64 million), but it was relatively quiet there that day.
So we took a cruise in the famous UNESCO Heritage Halong Bay. That is pretty much the only way to discover this wander of the world - well, at least in two days and one night.
Vietnam is known for its affordable pricing for many things from trasportation to food, but this cruise was a bit of an exception. And unfortunately the weather never cleared out after the whole trip. However on the second day the weather was somewhat better, sometimes we saw the sun coming out.
The cruise itself was really fantastic - full of peaceful retired people from all over the world. We thoroughly enjoyed its programme from morning tai chi session (obviously all cruises do that) to cooking class. They took us to a cave and a floating village where people actually live above water.
I know it's touristy, but food was very good, and we enjoyed the different exceitment from fast-paced Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh city here. We had a wonderful experience overall.

Fajã Grande is the most western point of Europe, situated at Flores Island, framed of many cascades. The whole island looks like a large botanical garden in middle of Atlantic. Fajã is a portuguese term that describes the platform geology constructed from landslides or lava flows. That are relatively common coastal features, occurring on the toe of cliffs. Although they exist throughout the world, they are distinct features of the archipelago of the Azores.
Bleik is a fishing village in the municipality of Andøy, part of the district and famous archipelago Vesterålen in Nordland county, Norway. Bleik has one of the longest beaches in Norway, and it is said that the beach is the reason for the village's name. The beach is white, and bleik is a word for white/pale in the Norwegian language.

The elongated ridge Serra do Cume is a rest of a crater rim. The rim rises up to 545 m. The high plains is characterized by dense green and pastures. From above can have a nice view to the flat giant crater Caldeira da Guillerme Moniz. It is one of the most beautiful views on Terceira island. One of the most beautiful landscapes of azorean islands with regularly arranged pastures are situated at the feet.
A lot of caves from lava rock exists around the coast of Flores, the westernmost island of Azores archipelago.
