Our gas is still out but at least we have electricity. An eerie silence decended on the village last night with further power cuts. The emergency rest centres have been open 24 hours a day for the last few days and have done a great job.

Een reportagewagen is een voertuig dat speciaal is ingericht als mobiele studiofaciliteit voor het verzorgen van radio- en televisieuitzendingen op locatie.
Deze wagens, ook wel aangeduid met de Engelse term Outside Broadcast Van of OBV, worden ingezet bij het verslaan van voetbalwedstrijden, wielerevenementen en andere gebeurtenissen. In de meest gevallen is een wagen voorzien van een regiekamer, een cameracontrolekamer en een geluidsregiedeel. Er zijn drie types, SD (standard definition). HD (high definition) en 3D. Momenteel verdwijnen SD wagens langzaam uit beeld en worden meestal vervangen door wagens die zowel SD als HD aankunnen.
