I wasn't going to upload this. I wasn't sure what it was beyond a Neptis sp. It didn't match any of my searches. In fact it is the scarce N. miah and this is the first record on iNaturalist for HK Island. It was first recorded in HK in 2004. www.afcd.gov.hk/english/conservation/hkbiodiversity/datab...
Wintering on trees in Pismo Beach, San Luis Obispo County, California, USA. An icon, and one of the few butterflies the average person may know or recognize, this species is in serious decline.

Siguiendo con los bichos que pudimos ver en la Reserva Natural Río Bravo, tenemos a la Doxocopa cyane mexicana, una mariposa de la familia Nymphalidae, subfamilia Apaturinae.
El género Doxocopa comprende 15 mariposas neotropicales de tamaño medio. Los machos reflejan una brillante iridiscencia en la parte superior de las alas.
Esta especie habita en el bosque nublado a una altura de entre 600 y 1800 metros.
