All New Scavenger Hunt - ANSH - Scavenger #3 - Nuts
Just a few from my hubby's nuts and bolts collection bucket!
Thanks for stopping by, your views and comments are much appreciated. Have a great day!
Her name should be Pure Joy.
Taken on Feb 24, but posted on March 1. I still haven't found the artist's name. I'm a big big fan of her/his work, other examples of which have been in SF.
When I came across this, it had just been placed; the tarps were still around the base and she stands on plywood. I'll be back for more photos and to read the plaque soon.

A small corner of the Rolls Royce production line where workers can come and get any nuts and bolts they need. Racks and racks of purple BMW boxes full of fixings.
Taken at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2009.
There was an engine manufacturer that had this impressive stand which was displaying some of the biggest and most powerful engines I have ever seen....they produced one type of engine that had more torque than 3 Bugatti Veyrons put together!! Mind blowing!!
Anyway, they pretty much make engines for trains and construction machinery and stuff like that.
This part of one of the engines stood out, so I thought I'd take a snap ;-)
