The College of Nursing and Alumni Relations came together for an evening celebrating the success of our College of Nursing alumni.
I made this nursing cover a few weeks back. It is double sided with white deers on navy on one side, and white polka-dots on lime green for the other.
I have tested it and it works pretty well to "cover" up during nursing. It sort of works like an apron over the baby while he eats, but the opening is bigger so that I can peek inside at the top to see him.
This was one of my first sewing projects after the baby came. It was so therapeutic to sew again...

I had to wait to see a friend who is a resident in this lovely home, and they gave me a chair here on the landing.
I was struck by the unusual arrangement of the window at floor level on the next landing at the top of the stairs.
Of course it is the result of adding a second storey to the original Edwardian building.
