In an abandoned village near Pripyat, an abandoned nursery lies empty. Rusting bunk beds and toys lie everywhere in the room where once, children played and slept.

Nice trip to London for a long weekend

At Flamingo Gardens entrance

Seen at a store nursery recently.

Oil on canvas. 22"x30".

A Christmas themed painting and 'sequel' to my painting, "Nursery".

Over the weekend I had to water at the nursery and usually I would hate to do it, as it would eat into my weekend but living next door and being able to walk over and water with the cats was delightful.

The cats loved it as well. They stayed close to me the whole time and Squirt was very busy. By the end of it he was soaked and shivering but a very happy little kitten.

For the rest of the day they all slept and did not move until dinner time :)

Another spider found while exploring around the Cape May Bird Observatory center after dark.

On a morning hunt.

I added the ribbon around the lampshades. I think it finishes it off nicely and adds a cute touch to his room.

Considered to be a common grassland species.

The female carries her egg sac in her fangs and only builds a nest when the young are about to hatch.

We still have a bunch of things to do to finish up the nursery, but I wanted to share a quick peek of the crib/bedding. As you can see, I'm non-traditional. :-) No pink in here!

I'm sure I'll be sharing more of it soon, the main thing we have left is to find things for the walls. I wish I was creative, and could paint/draw/whatever myself, but no such luck.

Midge & Baby - Nursery Giftset

Fabulous nursery full of cacti and succulents in Simonton, Texas, west of Houston. I've driven past this place for years on my way to visit my cousin but never stopped as I only saw the usual annuls and landscaping shrubs outside. Wow! What a surprise to find 2 huge greenhouses full of succulents and cacti. Nov. 2018

Living up to its name, I was amazed this spider stayed still long enough for me to photograph it, usually they disappear over the leaf edge.

Just a few pics of the nursery we set up for Harper who is due in just a couple of weeks.

I wanted this nursery room to feel bright and colorful. The room was inspired by nature and everything in it has been "upcycled" in some way.

One of our resident dock spider moms lookng for a place to secure her egg sac. She's so thin! They don't eat when they're protecting the eggs. She will create a large nursery web for the spiderlings to hatch into. They seem to like the space between the float and the dock boards.
