Mata-Nui, the robotic giant who hosted the Bionicle mythos in entirety. Concept by Christian Faber/Lego. I was originally challenged to attempt this building idea after being inspired by Achillax’s version www.flickr.com/photos/49880653@N08/
Finally built over the course of a couple months, with frequent re-visits. One day, he’ll be complete…

A microscale landscape build with a central location from the island of Mata Nui, with a minifigure trophy part representing Takanuva, Toa of Light.
Taking inspiration from different depictions of Kini Nui temple from three separate BIONICLE media: the temple hidden in the jungle as depicted in commercials for the first BIONICLE sets, the four-spired temple in Mata Nui Online Game, and the area across the stream with the sand pit and the giant Toa head carving that features prominently in BIONICLE: Mask of Light.
Main temple structure was originally built for New Elementary Parts Fest

Good Anzac day out with some mates and bikes. I completely forgot my camera and it was a stunner of a day.

Hearty and strong, the Purple Nui-Jaga possesses a blaster which shoots sticky poisonous blobs. They generally aim for the eyes of their foe, blinding them to make them vulnerable to the other Nui-Jaga.
Feeding on purified protodermis, Nui-Rama are mostly peaceful as long as their nests are avoided. They attack in vicious swarms if provoked.

Despite the apocalyptic disaster which was the Kanohi Dragon, Chirox persisted in his attempts to create the ultimate monster, and with the Rahi-Nui he certainly succeeded.
This gargantuan beast is an amalgam of traits from many of Chirox's other Rahi, mixing and matching only the best parts. It contains components from the Tahtorak, Kollorak, Niazesk, Catapult Scorpion, Tarakava, Hahnah, Muaka, Rock Lion, Kinloka, and Parakekks.
In addition to an impressive array of razor sharp teeth, claws, and multiple projectile launchers, this king of beasts is infused with the power of Kindred. This allows it to mimic the powers, abilities, and toxins of nearly any Rahi that has ever existed.
It has an extraordinarily bad temper, attacking pretty much any living thing indiscriminately. It's infected mask helps bias it in the direction of the Brotherhood's enemies, but the unruly titan is usually kept in the field of shadows by Kollorak, keeping it safely contained until its services are needed.

While not as intelligent as other social Rahi, the Nui-Jaga come in a variety of colors, using their abilities to help each other survive and find food. Generally, each colony of Nui-Jaga is led by a Yellow, with 1-3 of each of the other colors.
