Interesting juxtaposition of a cattle farm against a Wind Farm. I captured this image while visiting the southernmost point in the Big Island of Hawaii and, for that matter, in the United States.
The Tawhiri Power LLC is an independent power producer that supplies electricity for the State of Hawaii. The Pakini Nui Wind Farm is Tawhiri's principle project and is located near South Point on the Big Island of Hawaii. Since 2007, the wind farm has supplied approximately 18,000 Hawaiian homes per year with a green and renewable source of electrical power.
About the Wind Farm:
The south point area of Hawaii is one of the best places in the world for a wind farm because of its exceptionally strong and consistent trade winds. As as result, Tawhiri Power LLC selected this location for the Pakini Nui Wind Farm.
Construction of the wind farm began in August of 2006 and was completed in early 2007. On April third, 2007 the wind farm began commercial operation. There are a total of fourteen General Electric 1.5 Mega-Watt SE turbines at Pakini Nui. These turbines can provide nearly 21 Mega-Watts of electricity for the Big Island of Hawaii.
The Pakini Nui Wind Farm is located 7 miles down South Point Road from its junction with Route 11.
Tongariki, Rapa Nui, Easter Island, Chile.
Ahu Tongariki is the largest ahu on Easter Island. Its moais were toppled during the island's civil wars, and in the twentieth century the ahu was swept inland by a tsunami. It has since been restored and has fifteen moai, including one that weighs eighty-six tonnes, the heaviest ever erected on the island.

Hi everyone!
This is my take on the fearsome scorpion-like Rahi, the Nui-Jaga. This version features a snapping pincers function and stinging tail. Hope you enjoy!

Hi everyone!
Next up in my BIONICLE 25th anniversary project are the fearsome flyers called Nui-Rama. My version keeps the flapping wing function but I cranked everything else up to 11 in terms of insectoid design, giving them an extra set of claws and a more pronounced stinger. If I may boast, I'm really proud of how the Roborider wheel launcher was used as the stinger, as I don't think I've seen that done before. Hope you enjoy!

A microscale landscape build with a central location from the island of Mata Nui, with a minifigure trophy part representing Takanuva, Toa of Light.
Taking inspiration from different depictions of Kini Nui temple from three separate BIONICLE media: the temple hidden in the jungle as depicted in commercials for the first BIONICLE sets, the four-spired temple in Mata Nui Online Game, and the area across the stream with the sand pit and the giant Toa head carving that features prominently in BIONICLE: Mask of Light.
Main temple structure was originally built for New Elementary Parts Fest
It takes sooo long to scan it all and somehow the colors don't come out as the scan :-(. Its going to take a life time to adjust it all. But have a play with them from time to time. I would shoot it different now. But love the location and at the same time it proofs that spiritual can be crazy or is crazy.

After several months, and a long break in between, the blue Jaga is finally done! The tail proved to be tricky, but once all the parts were designed, the build as a whole came together fairly smoothly.
Just putting this out there, who wants to go on an Easter Island Photography Adventure?
Thinking June 2018 and/or 2019!
Just going through all the details, should have prices in the next few weeks.
Picture for attention
This rahi was a lot of fun to build, and a bit of a challenge. The body came together relatively quickly (and by quickly, I mean 2 months). The tail was much more complicated, but I finally arrived at a streamlined, yet somewhat fragile, design with technic visors and pin connectors connected to 3 flex hoses.
