Legend says that Atlantis city was built by Poseidon, god of sea when he fell in love with a mortal woman Cleito. He made this city on top of a nearby hill and named it Atlantis. It is believed that he walked through these islands until he reached the biggest of them all- Atlantis and found it to be inhabited by people more beautiful and intelligent than rest of the world. It is here he first saw his future wife and fell in love with her.

The pristine glacial waters of Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park are so clear that you can see the bottom and, on a good day, so calm, you can see the surrounding mountains and sky reflected on the top of its surface. On a windy day, white caps form on this now tranquil scene. The water of Lake McDonald swells through a valley carved by erosion and glacial activity and is the largest lake in Glacier National Park. Its impressive shoreline is ten miles long and at its deepest point, 500 ft.

Update: We are making progress! We have found my mother in law a wonderful care home only minutes away from our house. She can move in anytime after Christmas!
Still a lot to do but the part that was worrying us the most is done!

Expect that the captain aboard the ferry to Denmark, was reasonably "pissed off" when we didn't move our boat fast enough out of his way. Although they used the ship`s whistle / horn eagerly ...... But we were on a fishing trip and then everything else have to wait..... :-) Sorry Captain!
We passed this guy who climbed to the top of this rock formation at the start of our hike. When we passed by on the way back, about an hour later, he was still there. Maybe he was waiting for someone, taking in the view, resting or...?
Evidently rock climbing is permitted in this area because there was a climber on each rock face near the parking area. Some were experienced; some seemed like they were stuck, like the guy in the next picture.

Vista panoràmica (i ennuvolada) de la part alta de la Vall Ferrera, al Pallars Sobirà. A la esquerra la Vall Ferrera propiament dita continua vers Àreu i fins els peus de la Pica d'Estats, i a l'esquerra comença la molt més estreta i salvatge vall de Tor, que amb grans dificultats porta fins Andorra.
Aquesta darrera vaig agafar, ara que el camí fins poc abans de Tor està encimentat, tot i que continua essent rabiosament estret!
