A note of remembrance placed on the remnant of steel structure recovered from the World Trade Center and erected in memorial in Dracut, Massachusetts.

A note on the back of this real photo post card reads, "Chief Joseph (Himself) MacNab, acting 1st Sgt., Battery "C" 82nd F. A. (Horse)."
A close up of Sergeant MacNab shows he is wearing goggles to protect his eyes from the dust and a chinstrap to keep his hat from blowing off. Note how his canteen is tied down with a string threaded through two holes in the base of the canvas cover in order to keep it from bouncing with the movement of the horse.

Note the yellowing of many of the leaves, possible pathogen symptoms, or perhaps just the plants' reaction to the current drought.
Pilot’s notes including air pressure, and frequencies for Pearson (terminal) and Island (city) airports.
Another excellent found note, dropped by someone outside the UNM bookstore. Written on a due-date slip from the public library, it lists...many, many things. Comic-book heroes and other stuff. The list continues on the other side.
