Four times a year, at the end of each quarter, the notebooks are collected and graded. Of course I want to see everthing --- class notes, vocabulary sheets, cultural info, verb info, tape recorded practice sheets --- everthing completed and in the specified order. Now is that asking too much?
It takes a while to grade the notebooks, but it is worth the time and effort, and I feel good knowing that, when the students leave me, they have a great "resource of information" to use in future Spanish classes.

終於可以把手邊那本2006年國泰人壽送的破爛小筆記換掉了
I went to Borders (nearly couldn't get to Borders because I had no idea what the building name was!!) and was hoping to get a fabric wrapped notebook from 'paperchase'. The one I have now is used to record scribbles of the amigurumi designs as I crochet.
I couldn't find any of those, so I have to settle with whatever they have in store. Then, I spotted this notebook with the graphic printed eye on the cover, I know immediately this is MY address book.
Will be making the indexes myself, since address book is really scarce now, hence the lack of selection.
This notebook is made from felt and was hand embroidered from a pattern drawn by myself.

Repurposed clean, brown, paper grocery bags are used for the cover of this small, super deluxe version of my notebooks. Great for your purse, as party favors, or to use as a journal on your road trip this summer. It measures 5 inches high by 3 inches wide when closed. It contains 10 papers which create 20 pages. The papers for writing include graph paper, newsprint, yellow and white notebook paper, and practice writing paper. Each notebook is machine stitched with white thread.
The cover is rubber stamped with the words "road trip" and lined with beautiful repurposed wall paper. The writing paper pages are sandwiched with a page from a vintage cookbook and a map, creating visual interest and reflecting the road trip theme.
In Zuid-Amerika zie je er af en toe eentje in het straatbeeld opduiken, maar hier in België is het nieuw: een krantenwinkel waar je ook kan ontbijten en lunchen. Bij Revista - Spaans voor 'tijdschrift' - kan je dus gewoon de krant kopen en er een lekker koffietje bij drinken. Naast de evergreens uit de nationale en internationale pers prijken andere bekende en mindere bekende titels uit de mode-, lifestyle, muziek- en designwereld. Je kan er ook snuffelen tussen enkele boeken of je muziekcollectie uitbreiden met door USA IMPORT geselecteerde cd's. Dankzij een hotspot kan je hier ook gemakkelijk wireless internetten. De broodjes die ze hier 's middags smeren, zijn altijd kraakvers en het aanbod verandert geregeld. Wie opteert voor een ontbijt - en dat kan gaan van simpel tot uitgebreid - mag zelf een krant kiezen want die zit in de prijs inbegrepen.
