I need notebooks most of the time, due to a lack of good memory; I usually use them for all kinds of note-taking and not so much for journaling purposes; I love the black ones with red corners, because they have the perfect mix of sturdiness and paper-quality (I am not a big fan of Moleskines - they aren't as sturdy as other brands); I also have two chrono notebooks from Muji, which I purchased in New York (I never used them - eventhough the idea is quite genius)
