ทุกวันนี้โลกรู้จัก Tablet ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นอุปกรณ์พกพาที่ดีและยืดหยุ่นต่อการใช้งานในชีวิตประจำวันทั่วไป แต่ในขณะที่ผู้ใช้งานบางกลุ่ม ก็ยังต้องการประสิทธิภาพเพื่อสร้างงานหรือทำอะไรบางอย่างที่เฉพาะทางลงไป ก็จำเป็นต้องพึ่งพา Notebook เป็นหลักเพราะ Tablet ไม่อาจตอบโจทย์ได้ทั้งหมด แต่สถานการณ์ทั้งหมดก็เริ่มเปลี่ยนไป เมื่อ Microsoft ได้ประกาศเปิดตัว Windows 8 เมื่อปลายปีที่แล้ว โดยชูจุดเด่นด้านการใช้งานแบบผสมผสาน พร้อมออกแบบหน้าตาเมนู (UI) แบบใหม่ที่ชื่อว่า "Metro Style” เพื่อเน้นรองรับหน้าจอสัมผัสเป็นหลัก ซึ่งผู้ใช้สามารถสลับการใช้งานทั้งรูปแบบของ Metro และรูปแบบการใช้งาน Desktop แบบเดิมได้อย่างอิสระ ส่งผลถึงการออกแบบ Hardware ของ โน๊ตบุ๊ค ในยุคใหม่ ที่ไม่จำกัดว่าต้องเป็นเครื่องแบบฝาพับ (Clamshelll) ที่เราคุ้นเคยกันแต่เพียงอย่างเดียวอีกแล้ว ทำให้ผู้ผลิตอุปกรณ์อย่าง Samsung สามารถออกแบบตัวเครื่องที่ "แยกส่วน" ระหว่างตัวคีย์บอร์ด กับหน้าจอออกจากกันได้อย่างอิสระ โดยอุปกรณ์รุ่นนี้จะมีอยู่ประจำตระกูลว่า ATIV Tab นั่นเอง

Forced spine.Rounded corners. Blank pages for your freedom and for handwriting abilities in vertical and horizontal direction. 52 blank 90gr/m2 pages for BASE series notebooks. 52 blank 100gr/m2 pages for ELEGANT series notebooks. 4 contrast-color personal pages on verso and recto. Cover weight is > 250gr/m2. Total weight is 52gr. for BASE series and 60gr. for ELEGANT series. Edge coloring and kevlar spine cloth are optional as your decision. ANIKI Notebook papers are specially selected and tested for FOUNTAIN PENs.

I have the worst day ever *still panic*
I had lab today (yeah, I have school 7/7 now ~) and I was scheduled from 11am until 3pm. However, we couldn't finish by that time, so we had to stay and work 'til 6pm (I could leave but I couldn't allow myself to go home and rest while other people were staying and working to cover me, so well, I stayed). When we was finally done, I got to my car, and found out that the car had broken down (what could've been worst???) It couldn't start. I called my friends for help and they came over, tried to jump start it, but it didn't work. Then I called my house owner, who was a mechanist himself, to ask for help. He talked to my friends then they tried something then my car started up. I drove home and now am sitting on my bed, writing this. But I have to leave my car at home so the mechanist can come and check my car. I have class tomorrow and next week ~ still figure out a way to get to school...
* I made this notebook cover out of cotton fabrics and cardboard. I also used fleece, to pad the outside, embroidery fabric, embroidery thread and a piece of ribbon.
* Ik heb deze notitieblokhouder gemaakt van katoenen stofjes en karton. Daarnaast heb ik fleece gebruikt, als zachte tussenlaag voor de buitenkant, borduurstof, borduurgaren en een stukje lint.

Notebooks are very important for schoolwork. They are made of paper binded together. Where does paper come from? Should we throw it away when we are finished with it? Why or why not?

I got it for my birthday yesterday. Totally unexpected we went out for dinner yesterday evening and the whole family was there, they bought me this notebook. It's the only present I got, but it's superawesome. I like being 16. =P
