I was briefly part of a rescue mission involving two young birds who fell from their nest, two concerned señoras, and the municipal police (who actually didn't want to get involved, despite the señoras' insistence that they send the fire department with a ladder.)
I normally have two or three books on the go, but this is getting out of hand. I've just rounded these up from all over the house. My problem is that I get so far and then start thinking and put the book down, and then later I pick up another book and start that. Usually because I've put the first book somewhere stupid as I was too busy thinking.
