Opening blank page (a1r) with ownership inscription of Bochardus Horst (fl. 1556), of Rostock: “Borchardus Horst sibi haec vindicat biblia c[ivitate] Rostochij empta dalero [= talero] Anno 1556 In ipso festo circumcisionis domini”; an unread manuscript inscription at the top of the page, and a quotation or motto “Si Christum discis satis est si caetera nescis: Si Christum nescis [satis - scored through] nihil est quod caetera discis”, above which in a different hand are the initials “B N S O”. I got to take a couple good long walks around a day while working the Tabloia table. You could walk a good way, but then you'd hit the wall of crowds waiting for free posters or to meet some celebrity (which all seemed to happen around the movie studio spaces) and it was a real challenge to break through or return the way you came.
The "Free Hugs" kids anime fans started to appear, and they all seemed to be incredibly depressed. By the way, there are no such thing as "free hugs" from depressed, sweaty teenagers.
I also had my first meeting with Mr. Deer, a member of the con staff who was in a wheelchair. He would stop by periodically to talk about things, pitch his idea about a secret agent in a wheelchair and to hit on any females who happened to be browsing the table.

My notes from Agile2008. I'm trying something new, uploading the notes to Evernote to store them and I thought others might be able to get something out of them.
It's worth noting two things: 1. I am a tenant, this is not an owner-occupied unit, and selling was not my (or my landlady's) idea. 2. I tried to get the stupid showings postponed until I got home and *could* clean the clutter, goddammit.
I also like the two "FYIs." That softens the blow, since I know you're just trying to inform me.

Looking out of our attic window, on a foggy night (tonight) with a nice example of how sodium lights (standard street lighting) "contributes" to the night sky.
Note to those who care: that's a 1.6 second exposure hand-held ;-)
Note Taking Tip: How to Take Notes from a Textbook: Bullet points are a great technique to use. Don't feel that you must write in full sentences, just write down the key information. This will help when it comes to looking over your notes and studying, as you won't be overwhelmed by text. #notes #notetaking
