We stopped in at the 314 W. 58th St. location of the four-store deli chain at 10:30 a.m. on a Friday, and it was packed. For a change, we decided to try Bagel Nosh rather than our other favorites Pick a Bagel and Ess a Bagel for a half-dozen bagels to take home. The bagels are advertised as hand-rolled, boiled then baked, giving them a lighter consistency. They were excellent; we will do bagels and cream-cheese spread on our next NYC visit.
FrightFest is an annual horror film festival held in London every summer. This year, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the event, the organisers put out a calendar showing iconic images from the history of the horror movie, all played by event-going regulars. I managed to bag myself the roles of Leatherface, Jason Voorhees and main player representing the zombie movie.

My friend Nosh shot at my house. He introduced me to Whitesnake and Bernie Marsden and some more classic rock genres, not necessarily played on the radio.

Went via Chatsworth.. (always good!) Back along the superb Via Gellatia, then through Bakewell and Padley/Fox House.. Lovely.. Had sunny intervals but got increasingly chilly through afternoon..
