The cabbage was about 3lb. I checked a number of canning recipes, normalized the salt content and compared. I was glad to find that the Joy of Cooking and my Polish cookbook agreed and had the lowest salt content, coming out to 33g for 3lb of cabbage. I had 31g of pickling salt left. It was meant to be.
The Joy further stated that 5lb of cabbage would make about 1 quart of sauerkraut. I have no idea how they came up with that, because my 3lb cabbage, packed tightly enough that my knuckles are cracked and there's a good amount of juice at the top when the cabbage is weighted down, would NOT fit in this 1 litre jar. I had to use an overflow jar for about 250mL of cabbage.
I may add some red pepper flakes to the smaller batch to see how it turns out. Now I just have to wait 3-6 weeks for delicious sauerkraut.

Here im using Channel 1 as Attenuator with the internal Reference +5V normalized to then Input as a constand CV Source, Channel 2 as Attenuator with an CV on Input 2. On Output 2 i now get CH1 added to CH2 this means i have an CV Offset mixed to my attenuated original CV.

The blue sphere marking the apparent water level was originally added as a reference so I could tell which vectors were correctly normalized after an interpolation process. An ocean? Sure.

The word autumn comes from the Old French word autompne (automne in modern French), and was later normalized to the original Latin word autumnus.[2] There are rare examples of its use as early as the 14th century, but it became common only in the 16th, around the same time as fall, and the two words appear to have been used interchangeably.
Before the 16th century harvest was the term usually used to refer to the season. However as more people gradually moved from working the land to living in towns (especially those who could read and write, the only people whose use of language we now know), the word harvest lost its reference to the time of year and came to refer only to the actual activity of reaping, and fall and autumn began to replace it as a reference to the season.
The alternative word fall is now mostly a North American English word for the season. It traces its origins to old Germanic languages. The exact derivation is unclear, the Old English fiæll or feallan and the Old Norse fall all being possible candidates. However, these words all have the meaning "to fall from a height" and are clearly derived either from a common root or from each other. The term only came to denote the season in the 16th century, a contraction of Middle English expressions like "fall of the leaf" and "fall of the year".
During the 17th century, English immigration to the colonies in North America was at its peak and the new settlers took their language with them. While the term fall gradually obsolesced in Britain, it became the more common term in North America, where autumn is nonetheless preferred in scientific and, often, literary contexts.

My series focuses on addiction, its normalization, and effect on the environment. even though cigarettes aren't as mainstream anymore other things are. And you see them everywhere, you just have to look. This photo in particular was my favorite because you get to see something so beautiful like a flower but something had to ruin it. It is so hard to find something natural and beautiful that is un-touched by society. Everywhere there is the remains of something that people had done to destroy it. You find a beautiful cave, there's graffiti. You go on a hike into the green hillsides, you will find cans, and protein bar rappers. At the same time we have gotten so used to the sight of trash on the side of the road and in the bushes that we don't even take time to notice it anymore, like in this photo, it takes you a second to notice what it tainting the image.
