This past weekend, my friend Paul, who lives in London, came to visit us here in Edinburgh, Scotland. These are a few photos that I took while showing him around this charming city.
Yesterday, while enjoying a walk around Holyrood Park, I took this photo at Dunsapie Loch, in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Just over a year and a half ago, while we were visiting family and friends in Japan, I took this photo near the end of a great day with friends, photowalking around Yokohama. Shortly after this, several of us went out for dinner and drinks and back to Tokyo for some more drinks...great memories.
Loch a' Mhuillidh is a freshwater loch in Glen Strathfarrar, Scottish Highlands, which means "loch of the mill" in Gaelic. It is situated on the River Farrar, located about four miles downriver from Loch Monar and to the west of Loch Beannacharan. A small island in the loch is historically notable as a hiding place for Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat, after the 1745 Jacobite Rising.

About a week and a half ago, our friends Miho and Anthony took my wife and I to Shirakoma Ike, in Nagano Ken. This is one of the shots that I took while taking a walk along the beautiful path around the pond.
