But it's actually none other than the familiar squill.
Siberian squill (Scilla siberica)
This early bloomer blooms from February to April and tolerates colder temperatures well. It's hardy, spreads quickly, and forms dense, vibrant carpets of flowers.
Nickende Sternhyazinthe, was für ein schöner Name.
Dahinter verbirgt sich aber kein anderes Blümchen, als unser bekanntes Blausternchen.
Sibirische Blaustern (Scilla siberica)
Als Frühblüher, er blüht von Februar bis April, kommt dieses Blausternchen gut mit kälteren Temperaturen zurecht.
Es ist winterhart, verbreitet sich schnell und bildet dichte Teppiche aus leuchtenden blauen Blüten.

Three little grebes from the newest batch left their nest for the first time yesterday. The parents coaxed them into the water and then onto their backs. A few minutes later they were already diving.
Once playtime was done, all three climbed aboard Mom to settle down for a nap.

Haenertsburg is a village situated on the edge of the Great Escarpment in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, on the R71 road between Polokwane (formerly: Pietersburg) and Tzaneen en route to the Kruger National Park.
Nodding Thistle (Carduus nutans) also known as Musk Thistle. Growing on the Iron Age Ramparts in Ham Hill Country Park. This plant is native to Europe and Asia. It is a food plant for Painted Lady Butterfly caterpillars and the seeds are food for many finches including goldfinch.
hola hermanos...e si...vengo da una rosolata al mare sulla spiaggia cocente e nelle acque inquinate della nostra costa tirrenica e secondo voi mi sono rilassato?
Quando mai?
Ho assistito a scene imbarazzanti, bambinoni palestrati mettersi in posa sul bagnasciuga per mostrare mesi di dure sudate in palestra e diete impossibili, pseudo veline urlare a squarciagola: "a scemooooooo" al primo che passa e le fa un complimento un po troppo spinto (ma se ti vesti da zoccola con chi te la prendi?), bambini persi lacrimanti in cerca dei genitori beatamente al bar a fare il porco comodo loro, invasione di barbari dai lettini infingardi pronti a rubarti il posto appena ti allontani un secondo dal tuo ombrellone, squadroni di piccoli uomini sfidarsi a pallonate e far scappare i piccoli che cercano di fare i classici castelli di sabbia (a proposito tra racchettoni e palloni vari è severamente vietato scavare buche sulla sabbia...), tennisti da 4 soldi cimentarsi in tornei di wimbledono con tanto di tiro al bersaglio sul bagnante di turno.
Ogni anno ci casco, ogni anno mi incazzo, ogni anno penso che è sempre peggio.
Ma pensandoci bene non è tanto diverso da cio' che ci si propina ad alt(r)i livelli:
arroganza, esteriorità, accaparramento, sopraffazione, maleducazione non sono tutti "Valori"che passano dal mezzo catodico ogni giorno?
E chi ci rimette? Quelli che pensano che qualcuno prenderà le loro difese, e resteranno sempre a bocca asciutta e come il bimbo sulla spiaggia, con i lacrimoni che scendono..in cerca dell'adulto che li protegga......ma gli adulti sono merce rara.
Devo farmi un nodo al fazzoletto per il prossimo anno...mai meravigliarsi del decadimento...si scende a tutta birra ......
e mi sparo questa....in attesa di giorni migliori..

In daylight Streptocarpus caulescens bobs about in a hanging pot swaying in the breeze. They are eye catching because of their colour and constant movement. Evening and a camera flash reveal there is more to treat the eye — sparkling iridescence — the joys of wandering about in the dark with a macro lens, worthy camera and a flash.
Seeing as class 142 Pacers (aka 'Nodding Donkeys' due to their riding characteristics) are now securing more interest from the snapping community in lieu of their imminent demise, here's a shot of one taken in 2014 that never got uploaded - and in arguably appropriate conditions given recent weather forecasts.
With temperatures below freezing and a hard frost on the ground, unit 142084 passes the once busy eastern approaches of Healey Mills Yard with what's thought to be a Northern service from Huddersfield to Wakefield Kirkgate.
