On the morning of July 7, 2017, I went outside to see how one of the wild sunflowers in our yard was doing.

This tow plane had finished towing a glider up into the sky.
It was on the way back to the airport to get ready for the next glider that it would tow.
If you look closely, you can see the cable connected to it.

On November 5, 2016, the purple flowers were not to be found in our yard.
On the afternoon of July 23, 2017, some rain arrived...
Later, the blue sky was wanting to show through the clouds.

ow.) the fact that this is an analog process, that the camera saw what it saw, and the film's chemistry responded, also makes me smile, enough that i choose to do nothing to alter it. nothing at all. this is what i think about when i'm feeling low. this type thing, actually. it doesn't have to be this exact thing. it could be anything (as long as it's familiar and makes me smile. the analog process stuff is pretty much gravy.)
